Bunbury is home to an exquisite range of wildflowers. Delicate orchids and flowering native shrubs add amazing colour to natural bush surrounds between September and mid November. There are a number of places in and around Bunbury that offer wildflower displays not to be missed. The Bunbury Visitor Centre releases weekly wildflower reports during the season. Manea Park: (behind College Grove)
The Tuart Walk: (southern end of Ocean Drive)Walk through the Tuart Forest on a sealed walkway and see Purple Fringed Lilies, Hibbertia, Hakeas, Wattle, False Boronia, Purple Tassels, Cotton Heads and Blue Squill.
Crooked Brook Forest: (Ferguson Valley/Dardanup area)Enjoy a picnic here and walk the sealed path and see Slender Sun Orchids, Trigger Plants, Wild Pink Boronia, False Boronia, Knagaroo Paws, Yellow Candles, Clucky Chooks, Sundews, Damperia, Blue Leschenaultia, Hibbertia and Blue Squill.
